- Understand and read manufacturing drawings.
- Design the model and generate programs for the same model.
- Handle and use measuring equipments.
- Design & develop tools, fixtures, and gauges for manufacturing operations.
- Preparation and maintenance of all relevant manufacturing specifications.
Conventional Milling - Different types and specifications of Milling Machines, Different type of Milling operations - Face milling, End milling, Straddle milling, Plain milling, Side milling, Angular milling, Gang milling, End milling. Knowledge of different cutting tool materials used. Understand Safety precautions
CNC Turning - Fundamental Principles of CNC , CNC System, Fundamental Geometrical Principles,Main Programming for Turning Operation, Programming using CAM software.CNC programming on lathe and tool setting.
CNC Milling - CNC technology basics, CNC part programming with simple exercises and various programming codes. Practice on CNC machine simulator. Indicate Machining parameters for milling for face milling and end milling.
On successful completion of this course, the candidates shall be gainfully Employed in the following industries:
